# Borders and Outlines

## Purpose

Stroke widths, styles and focus rings.

## Decisions

### Selected card

A selected card (not a premium one) has a **1px violet border `#7520ff` and a violet tint fill**. The tint is `#1c1530` (a dark violet). Premium or highlighted cards keep the gradient border (see [Colour](colour.md)).

Also: 1px borders in background-accent, a 2px lighter-violet focus ring with a 2px gap, and 1px dividers. See [Elevation and Depth](elevation-and-depth.md) for floating layers, dragged items and tooltips.
