What is borrowed in spirit from Material Design, Acorn Design Framework and others, and what is deliberately not being done.

### Inspiration and non-goals

**Inspiration**
- **Google Pixel UI** and **Firefox**: clean, uncluttered interfaces.
- **Material Design** and **Acorn Design Framework**: admired for the clean look. Their colour palettes are not used; the palette is original, built from the ground up.

**Not an inspiration**
- **Nextcloud**'s interface.
- **3D-looking interfaces**, and heavy effects such as "liquid glass".

**Scope.** There is no fixed out-of-scope list. The scope is whatever a project's use case requires; things like marketing sites or native conventions are not ruled out in advance.
